Guru Gardens was founded on the principle of being the experts on soil biology, plant identification, and all things lawn and landscape.
Founder, Rich Blood, developed a passion for gardening in his teens where he moderated online gardening forums under the “Guru” alias. He even found himself teaching gardening members that were clearly his senior.
That “Guru” alias has been carried with Rich into adulthood as mowing, planting, pruning, and creating pieces of landscaping art provides peace of mind for him. It was time to bring the zen that Rich experienced to other people as Guru Gardens.
It is our mission to provide the best possible lawn care and landscaping services to the Henry County area and bring that same zen to all homes we service.

Rich is the founder of Guru Gardens. He’s passionate about gardening, landscaping, lawn care, and peppers! He scours the globe to find the most elusive heirloom peppers, filming every step of the way and creating content for his spicy series “Traveling the World in Search of Peppers”.
